1. A Lick Of Paint
This one is a bit of a given! Whitewashing your walls can give potential buyers a blank canvas to imagine how the home will look with their décor up – or how it will look once they have decorated. As well as white washing walls, touching up doors, window frames and skirting boards make a difference too.
2. Upgrade the Kitchen
Simply updating cabinet handles, or repainting units can give kitchens a whole new lease of life. To add an extra touch, use rich colours such as pantones colour of the year instead of neutral colours to add a bit of excitement to the kitchen.
3. Deep Clean the Bathroom
Giving your bathroom tiles, grout and fixtures like taps and radiators a good scrub can revive the sparkle, making the room look almost new. Replacing cheaper items such as toilet seats, light switches, shower heads and even updating towels and any ornaments can make a big difference too. It's really easy to transform a room with clever lighting. What might otherwise be a darker, more cramped room can be turned into a cosy snugg area with a bit of a warmer lighting. Consider aesthetic light fixtures, such as pendant lights over the dining table or maybe a table lamp to brighten the gloomy corner of the lounge.
