1. Morrison’s The Best Valpolicella Ripasso
At only £8 this rich red berry Valpolicella is an absolute bargain. Its both rich and light and provides the perfect accompaniment for meatballs and other tomato-based dishes.
2. Sainsbury's Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc
This refreshingly crisp grapefruit Sauvignon is only £7 and goes perfectly with white fish, or even a cheeseboard.
3. McGuigan Black Label Merlot
This Merlot packs a fruity punch and goes amazingly with meat dishes (specially a Sunday roast). It is also only £7.50 a bottle!
This soft and citrusy Chardonnay is the ideal march with a creamy risotto or pasta dish, at £9 a bottle this is complete bargain.
At under £8 a bottle, this organic prosecco is light and fresh (and it comes in a lovely unique shaped bottle too!) The winery where this is produced grow grapes without pesticides and use renewable energy where they can!
